Not only you feel the history everywhere, but also the artistry of Bhaktapur craftsmen: the wood-carved windows overlooking the oldest square of the town and the temple, the wooden artifacts in the cute courtyard, the craftsman himself working next to the restaurant…. We marveled every minute of our stay there, we tasted a good amount of their great food and we spent literally hours observing this lively town from our windows… If you are in Bhaktapur and you like living in history and art, look no further.

It’s clean, green, peaceful, in a great location if you want to be near the stupa, and the staff are wonderful. The food is excellent too.

Kathmandu Peace Guesthouse was our base camp while staying in Nepal. There is a great hospitality, the stuff is very friendly and helped to organize different kinds of excursions. We had a spacious, clean room. Kathmandu Peace Guesthouse is located in a quiet side street, has a nice roof top garden with view to Swayambhunath and multiple breakfast/lunch/dinner opportunities in the neighborhood.
