The owners could not have been more helpful, from letting me amend my booking last minute, to a free room upgrade, early check-in and just a generally positive and friendly attitude. I will definitely return here on my next visit to Mauritania.

Maison D'hôtes Des Belges is a recently renovated guest house in Dakhla, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and garden. The property was fantastic. The host was really kind and nice. Their food was delicious. The room was lovely and clean.

Room was attractive, spacious and clean. WiFi worked well once I was moved to a closer room. Food was very good. I had a relaxing stay. But I recommend guests have a car as there isn’t much to do there. It is a great place for wind kiting as there was a constant strong wind in March and it’s just a five minute walk to a beach and an excellent seafood restaurant
