I loved everything. We had an eleven-day scooter trip across the island, and Kirinda was our last stay before going home to Galle. The property is very well maintained; it looks new, minimalistic, and stylish. Everything was just perfect: the mattresses were super comfy, the AC worked properly, the shower was great, etc. But the main thing was the stuff and the food they cooked. I hadn't expected that I'd have one of the best dinners in five months in a place I had never heard of. Just spectacular!

A wonderful host set the tone for our great stay here. On checking in we were given a welcoming Coconut which was so refreshing after our trip from Ella. The room was clean and spacious with excellent air con. We enjoyed all meals there - lunch, dinner and breakfast -during our brief stay. They arranged an excellent Yala National Park tour for us at an extremely competitive price. Our driver Alim was fantastic and made every effort to ensure that we got the best value for our day. Unlike some drivers in the park, he did not rush but made sure we experienced the best day possible. As so many other have commented the host took us to the bus station and made sure we got the correct bus for our forward journey to Matara. Boasting river views, Riverview Cabana Tissamaharama features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. It was by far the best accommodation on our entire trip to Sri Lanka. The room, bathroom and balcony were huge and super clean. The air conditioning kept the room nice and cool. It is very nice and quiet. The safari was super organized with breakfast and drinks. But the best thing about the accommodation is definitely Mithila we have rarely met such a kind and gorgeous person. She really organizes everything and has an open ear for all our wishes. Takes care of the food order, safari, enough water and even the laundry. We had a lot of problems with our arrival due to New Year and she supported us the whole time. Many thanks again to you! We had such a great time with you ♥️

Offering a garden and lake view, Blue Sky Hotel Yala is located in Yala, 3 km from Tissa Wewa and 28 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary. Everything was great and we enjoyed staying in this hotel. We lived in a big comfortable room on the 3rd floor with air conditioner , fridge and a big balcony with amazing view! The owner Buddika was very friendly and helpful. He managed to arrange a great safari for us in Yala national park for next day at a good price even though we arrived late. And safari exceeded our expectations, during exciting trip we watched elephants, crocodiles, varan, peacocks, buffalos, dears and even a leopard very close that is a great luck and also made wonderful pictures. In addition I would like to mention excellent service and hospitality. Buddika picked our luggage up, arranged a dinner for us in the restaurant, presented welcome drinks and always helped to solve all questions.

Amazing place in the nature, away from main roads and the town. Peaceful and quiet. Staff will make you feel like you're part of the family. Food was also so good that there was no need to even try to eat outside (they provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Highly recommended.

Located just 2.5 km from Tissa Wewa, Blue Birds Tissa & Yala safari provides accommodation in Tissamaharama with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. The host was incredibly friendly and helped us out with any matter we had and also organized an amazing safari for us. After we arrived he took us for a little bird tour, which was really nice. He treated us with a fresh coconut, fruits and little snacks. The hospitality was outstanding. The room and generally the whole property was clean and comfy. We felt really welcomed and enjoyed our stay! We can definitely recommend this awesome place! Thank you very much for everything, we will come back! :-)

Boasting lake views, Lake Face Cabana offers accommodation with balcony, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Our time in this place was a genuinely beautiful experience. Equipped with binoculars, we enjoyed observing birds by the lake during the day. In the evening, the owner generously offered us a ride to a larger lake, where we had the opportunity to look at the bird nests and trees full of bats in the middle of the lake. The family was exceptionally helpful, providing us with delicious meals and engaging in friendly conversations. Additionally, they organised a memorable safari for us. We felt truly welcomed and embraced by their hospitality.

Featuring garden views, V Cabanas features accommodation with terrace, around 2.6 km from Tissa Wewa. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The Room is amazing! Nice view on paddy field . Very closed tissa town. The staff is kind and helpful, Everything was clean. Best safari arrangements.. Everything was perfect .

Set in Tissamaharama, 1.6 km from Tissa Wewa, La Safari Inn Tissamaharama offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. We stayed here for one night. The next day we went on a safari which was a new experience for us. They provided us with a very good jeep and a good driver.. Very nice rooms and it was very clean. The staff is very helpful. They brought us from Ella and dropped us back to Weligama for a very reasonable price. Everything was very good.
