This was our favourite place to stay from our entire trip. Everything was fantastic. The room, facilities, the view, hosts and breakfast. The room was cool enough with a large ceiling fan but there was no air con (not an issue for us though).

Cute little room, loved all the sustainable wood features. Owner very passionate and motivated, seemed like a great guy. Only two rooms, nice balcony overlooking the jungle. Great Sri Lankan breakfast served on the balcony. Only spent one night but would have stayed more if they weren’t booked. Highly recommended.

Almost everything. I stayed there for 2 weeks last February. I liked the hotel a lot. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Hashan the owner treated us as his own guests. He is very generous and hospitable. The food was very delicious and authentic. Haputale is very calm place and less touristy than Ella. I loved it more than Ella. It is surrounded by tea plantations, and very ery close to Horton Plains and Lipton’s seat. The hotel arranged trips for us to those places and to Udawalawe National Park. The roads around the hotel are great for trekking.

The staff was so kind and helpful in a silent, unobtrusive manner that the team warmed our hearts. We were offered a welcome drink at arrival. The Breakfast was massive and good. The room was immaculate; the view from the balcony was beautiful. You could see the waterfalls, and in the beautiful tree in front, they were everywhere fireflies and kingfisher birds. The room has four sockets, a kettle, a refrigerator and tea accessories. The water pressure is intense, and there is always hot water. The guesthouse is small, with three rooms only. You might need to tell your driver that you are searching for Ella grand view; they use both names or "end of temple road". It’s a simple guesthouse but super clean, great location, great staff and the most kind-hearted staff.

Bahçe ve terasa sahip Avenra Cottage, Ella'da Demodara Dokuz Kemerli Köprüsü'ne 1,5 km, Hakgala Botanik Bahçesi'ne 49 km ve Küçük Adam Tepesi'ne 1,5 km uzaklıkta yer almaktadır. The host is very kind and helpful, the space outside and inside the room is excellent, the view is very good, the location is great, it is very clean, and the breakfast is wonderfull and delicious.

Ella'da, Demodara Nine Arch Köprüsü'ne sadece 6,6 km mesafede yer alan Shining Green View'da bahçe, ortak salon ve ortak mutfak mevcuttur. Gayan and his two brothers were the most gracious and fabulous hosts, and they run a very clean and comfortable hotel in the hills. Gayan very safely drove us around on a half day tour and picked us up from town after dinner on his trusty tuktuk. Room was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Delicious large homecooked meals by the host's mother. They are doing up the upper levels of the hotel for more rooms and an even better view!

Extremly nice Hosts, we we're very thankful! Amazing juices and fruits in der morning, good Location for starting hikes. Wonderful surrunding and view from the Terrasse. We will come back!
