Set just 42 km from Gregory Lake, leisure Mount View features accommodation in Haputale with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. The view. The cleanliness. The value for money. The staff. Almost everything. I stayed there for 2 weeks last February. I liked the hotel a lot. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Hashan the owner treated us as his own guests. He is very generous and hospitable. The food was very delicious and authentic. Haputale is very calm place and less touristy than Ella. I loved it more than Ella. It is surrounded by tea plantations, and very ery close to Horton Plains and Lipton’s seat. The hotel arranged trips for us to those places and to Udawalawe National Park. The roads around the hotel are great for trekking.

Situato a Ella, a 1,5 km dal Ponte a Nove Archi di Demodara e a 1,2 km dall'Ella Spice Garden, l'Avenra Cottage offre un giardino, il WiFi gratuito in tutte le aree e un parcheggio privato gratuito. It was just outside the Main Street in Ella, about a 10 minute walk but still has lots of restaurants near by. It was set back off the main road so we had some privacy. And right next to the path to 9 arches bridge

Struttura nuova, ben tenuta, bellissima vista, lenzuola pulite, bagno pulito, colazione buona e abbondante, servizio pick-up dalla stazione ottimo. Dotato di phon, doppi cuscini, lampadine e prese elettriche accanto al letto, bollitore, presa elettrica usb. Per andare in centro città bisogna camminare per un pezzetto lungo i binari del treno il che è molto simpatico e non è pericoloso. Accoglienza superlativa

Nilowin Glenanore Guesthouse is situated in a part of Glenanore tea estate close to Haputale. This family-run guesthouse offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Everything. The room was lovely and had great views. The staff went above and beyond - they’re so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, but the best part was definitely the on-site cooking class. It was so much fun and so yummy. It’s a bit outside of Haputale but a 300 rupee Tuk Tuk is super easy, and it’s walkable to the monastery down the street which is a much see little attraction. A+ all around!
