Takamatsu-Chikko Station is a 3-minute walk from both JR Takamatsu Station and Takamatsu Port. Wakabaya guest house was perfect! Close to restaurants and shops, super clean and comfortable. I was quite at the end of my journey around Shikoku by bike and Takeshi gave me lots of help and suggestions for better arrive at the airport. Look also at his suggestions and tips! I went to Busshozan Onsen and Ritsurin Garden and they were amazing! Thank you very much

The air-conditioned accommodation is 1.2 km from Gokuraku-ji Temple. Naoshima Christ Church is 2.8 km from the guest house and Lee Ufan Museum is 3.1 km away. What a delight! This was such a surprise. It’s very spacious and has the best water pressure I have ever experienced in my life. I hope that I will stay again for several nights when I return. It’s a great location and wonderful value especially if you can book a weekend. The home was spotless and the owner let us store luggage at his home after checkout so we could explore the island. Can’t recommend this enough. There is a great okonomiyaki restaurant next door and an Italian eatery down the street for dinner. Remember to bring cash because that’s what the owner requires up front for your stay.

The location was conveniently near a grocery store, a beach, and a train station. I personally loved the decor, and the kitchen/common area was well set up with utensils for cooking, eating, a few games, and local sightseeing info.

We enjoyed the stylish place and the new onsen-style bathroom with a ceramic tub. Comfortable beds and complete privacy at the guesthouse.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 3 km from Kitahamaebisu Shrine. The place was really clean, and had everything that we could need all laid out for us when we arrived. The owners are the most wonderful people you'll ever meet, a kind older couple who live across the street from the building and speak perfect English. We often chatted and they let us use the bikes as often as we wanted. They will happily answer any question and sent us information in advance about how to access the hotel from Takamatsu station.. The room is really lovely, with a cool tatami room and kitchen, and traditional futon beds. The location is really peaceful and easy to access public transport. Just bear in mind that there is no lift, but the building is only 3 floors so it's only minimal stairs. All in all, I highly recommend this place, you will absolutely not regret it!

The room was simple but very clean and the location was perfect, both for Ritsuin Park and the train to the different temples.
