I have never stayed in a guest house with such a welcoming and engaging host. I really felt like the owner and host cared about their guests a lot and made their stay very pleasant. I really enjoyed engaging with the other guests in this guesthouse, which enables people to get to know each other during breakfast, at the bar or in the common room. The facilities were nicely designed and decorated. Despite the distance to the centre of Sapporo, I would definitely recommend this hidden gem to everyone. Additionally, the shorter distance to Teine Olympia and Highland Ski Resort and Otaru is very convenient. This guesthouse is perfectly located in between Sapporo Downtown and Otaru, which both are worth a visit.

Offering city views, Opopo home 竜宮店 is an accommodation situated in Otaru, less than 1 km from Otaru Station and 18 km from Otarushi Zenibako City Center. Very friendly owners with a very pretty hotel. Service was good and they went out of their way to ensure our stay was excellent. Highly recommended

They are so warm and friendly. The place itself is very clean and well organized. Free miso soup, tea, and coffee in the common area was also very welcomed! There's even a bathtub for those who prefer that over a shower. Very well recommended for anyone to stay!

It is a place that provides a wonderful experience. The host is polite and patient. Peaceful and I promise that if I have the opportunity I will come back and stay here again.

Shabby House is a 60-year old traditional Japanese home that is situated in Sapporo. Nishisenjuyojo Station is a 3-minute walk away from the property. A unique and charming place. The owner is super friendly and welcoming (he even let me borrow his bicycle), the room is pretty big for japan, the location is great, the breakfast is nice, and above all; the place is cosy and comforting.

Surrounded by serene pasture and vegetable fields, Pension Megumiyuki is situated just a 4-minute drive from Biei Station. Perfect location, lovely family home, DELICIOUS BREAKFASTS. We loved this place so much. Thank you!!!!
