Buttermilk Lodge is 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, so you can just park your car and easily walk to town. We liked absolutely everything about this wonderful guest house. Room was spacious, clean, equipped with bath products and area information……and the bed was very comfortable. It’s a five minute walk into town, so once you park your car for the evening, there’s no need to move it again. Breakfast is a variety of cold and hot with fantastic homemade breads to boot. Warm and welcoming hosts……what more could you ask for.

Situated in the picturesque village of Leenaun, the Portfinn Lodge offers views of the Maumturks Mountains. The house is on the southern shore of Killary Harbour, in the heart of Connemara. The lodge is located by the Killary fjord (one of 3 fjords in Ireland). It was very beatiful! Room was very nice and clean, the breakfast was good (and not expensive) and the owner was very kind. It is very near the Connemara national park and Kylemore abbey.

At the edge of Clifden, All the Twos offers rooms with spacious bathrooms. Guests can enjoy mountain views, free Wi-Fi, and free parking, 15 minutes’ drive from Connemara National Park. Very friendly staff, the ensuite room was very comfortable and clean, and the surroundings calm. I highly recommend the place for a trip to Connemara.
