Providing free WiFi, parking on-site and a garden, the recently renovated property of Sandford Meadow Guest House, offers rooms in Oxford, 8.9 km from University of Oxford and 21 km from Blenheim... The owner (Ric) was very kind and helpful. Beautiful house, lovely rooms, very clean, felt safe, and instructions were very easy to follow. Mimi (the cat) is very gentle and sweet. She only has access to the kitchen and outside, unless you let her in to the rest of the house. Naturally, we loved her so we let her roam freely through the house (when there were no other guests around) and she even spent one of the nights with us! Honestly such a great stay and would so easily recommend and go back. For breakfast, you're a 3 minute walk from Proof Social Bakehouse (pricey but AMAZING pastries, check opening times on google maps), and 5 minutes to the bus stop to go to Abingdon or Oxford (about 15mins to get to either). Really nice setting, very rural, very clean and had everything we needed. It was comparable to the cost of a premiere inn or Travelodge but in our opinions so much better quality in terms of facilities and comfort.

Set in Church Enstone, The Crown Inn, Church Enstone is 8 km from Chipping Norton and 13 km from Blenheim Palace. Providing a restaurant and a bar, the property also has a garden. Delightful property in a quiet location but so close to many attractions. Accommodation perfect bed & great sized bathroom with local cosmetics such a lovely touch.

Henley-on-Thames Studio Apartment is set in Henley on Thames, 34 km from Oxford. Attention to detail!! The owners go out of their way to think about what a short term traveler would need! This is really the first time someone paid so much attention to the small things!

The breakfast was exceptional, well presented, and delicious. Hosts very attentive, liked Richards sense of humour, he's very funny. My partner loves animals, so she loved the cats' chickens and fish. Great place to stay, will stay again, and would highly recommend it.

The staff was engaging and wonderful! I loved that every meal had a vegan / vegetarian option. It was quiet, but clearly a place where locals gather. I look forward to staying there again!
