On the edge of Loch Lomond and a 30-minute drive from Glasgow and its airport, this 4-star guest house has hearty Scottish breakfasts and free Wi-Fi. Excellent host who was willing to fulfil our special request of a very late check-in - a request that we found very hard to accept by other hotels or guest houses doing in-person check-in in that area. Fantastic breakfast menu you can choose from the evening before. Even better the taste and quantity of served meals we were not able to finish. We had a very short but the better stay at Gowanlea Guest House I would recommend to anybody. If coming back to Balloch and surroundings, definitely going to stay at Gowanlea again.

Located in the heart of the Loch Lomond National Park in the village of Arrochar, Lochside Guest House offers a traditional Scottish or continental breakfast as well as beautifully decorated bedrooms... Beautiful view from the dining room and bar area. The local pub patrons are friendly. The staff are exceptionally nice and welcoming.

The main hotel building is now under new ownership (previous owner holding onto Beach House rooms) Changes required to property description as follows: On the banks of Loch Lomond, this Traditional... It is an excellent hotel. Everything is perfect from the location to the facilities to the staff. We arrived late and the restaurant stopped taking orders as it was after 8pm but the person in charge for the evening made sure that after our delayed flight we would have a nice hearty meal. Rooms were extra comfortable as well. We are returned after 10 years and it maintained the same top notch standards.

Situated next to Balloch Rail Station, Tullie Inn offers comfortable accommodation 1 mile from Alexandria town centre. Loved the environment of the hotel. Have to walk through the pub before u reached the guest room entramce. So confused but very interesting.

Everything was clean, the beds were super comfortable, the room was really nice and pleasant. Would recommend and would come again.

We had everything we needed. The room was spotless. The bathroom has been beautifully updated. The bed was very comfortable.
