Excellent host who was willing to fulfil our special request of a very late check-in - a request that we found very hard to accept by other hotels or guest houses doing in-person check-in in that area. Fantastic breakfast menu you can choose from the evening before. Even better the taste and quantity of served meals we were not able to finish. We had a very short but the better stay at Gowanlea Guest House I would recommend to anybody. If coming back to Balloch and surroundings, definitely going to stay at Gowanlea again.

Guests can enjoy The Inn Bar & Restaurant, along with beautiful loch views. There is Wi-Fi throughout the Main Inn although some public areas are limited. It is an excellent hotel. Everything is perfect from the location to the facilities to the staff. We arrived late and the restaurant stopped taking orders as it was after 8pm but the person in charge for the evening made sure that after our delayed flight we would have a nice hearty meal. Rooms were extra comfortable as well. We are returned after 10 years and it maintained the same top notch standards.

Situated next to Balloch Rail Station, Tullie Inn offers comfortable accommodation 1 mile from Alexandria town centre. Free WiFi is available in all public areas, and free private parking is possible on site. Loved the environment of the hotel. Have to walk through the pub before u reached the guest room entramce. So confused but very interesting.
