Less than 3 miles from the historic centre of Canterbury, this luxury B&B enjoys a rural setting within its own oak woodland. Exceptional. The location worked well for me - a c. 10 quid taxi ride into Canterbury - had plenty of parking room. There was a forest to explore and pigs to see. It was really beautiful and peaceful! The host was wonderful and welcoming and made a fantastic full English breakfast to order in the morning (plus, there was cereal, etc.). The room was comfortable and modern and everything worked like it should! Would highly recommend.

The rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and well maintained. The hotel serves beautiful breakfasts and exceptional meals. The bar is a welcoming place to sit for a drink. Parking is easy. The best asset is the staff- friendly, welcoming and give great ideas for local places to visit. We highly recommend this hotel after staying 4nights.

Sally and Tony were so welcoming and lovely. They made it feel like home away from home. We had a very special occasion during this trip and they made it even more memorable. This is a delightful hotel situated near the coast in the lovely town of Hythe. The furnishings are beautifully chosen and retro, which gives the stay some character. It's at the end of the high street, so an easy walk into town or down to the beach. Jamie is a fantastic host and a great source of stories and local knowledge. I would definitely stay again to explore the town further and drink a pint with him!
