What an amazing and interesting place to stay. We loved the experience of staying in a centuries-old listed building and discovering aspects of it's history and architecture. Having a great breakfast in a dining room steeped in history was memorable. Secondly, Paul and Melissa were fantastic hosts and it was wonderful to get to know them. Meeting them added to the whole wonderful experience of staying at Le Chateau. If they invite you to chat with them over tea, grab the chance!

Local bread, cereals and tea/ coffee perfect for us. Our hostess was super friendly, nothing was too much trouble and even brought pain relief tablets when my partner said his shoulder was sore from all the driving the day before. Very restful and tasteful décor. Great bed and bath. We really relaxed here.

Our host was lovely and very helpful, speaks excellent English. We had a very comfortable overnight stay and an excellent breakfast. Our room was spacious and well equipped. It is a beautiful old house tastefully decorated and furnished. As we were travelling out of season and on a Monday the local restaurant was closed so we had to travel to the next village for our evening meal. It wasn't a problem but you may be advised to book a restaurant in advance.

A beautiful location. The room was spacious with a lounge area, table and chairs and spacious bathroom. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. The breakfast served on the pretty front terrace was exceptional.

Offering free bikes, and a children’s playground, Domaine de la Jarrige is a renovated 17th-century farm offering guest house accommodation or a holiday home with free WiFi. Absolutely wonderful! It exceeded our expectations, Christophe made us very welcome. The room was a very high standard and spotless. Breakfast was fabulous. Thanks for letting us stay, it was so lovely 😊

Chateau de Lissac merupakan sebuah istana abad ke-13 yang menawarkan tempat penginapan dan sarapan di sebelah Tasik Causse, 11 km dari Brive-la-Gaillarde. The Chateau itself is beautiful and the rooms spacious and comfortable. The hosts were exceptional, and went way beyond what could be expected, including providing transport for us to tourist destinations, into town and to the airport when we left. Overall a wonderful experience and a great start to a French holiday.
