It is a beautiful old house tastefully decorated and furnished. As we were travelling out of season and on a Monday the local restaurant was closed so we had to travel to the next village for our evening meal. It wasn't a problem but you may be advised to book a restaurant in advance.

Chateau de Lissac is a 13th-century castle offering bed and breakfast accommodation right next to Causse Lake, 11 km from Brive-la-Gaillarde. The Chateau itself is beautiful and the rooms spacious and comfortable. The hosts were exceptional, and went way beyond what could be expected, including providing transport for us to tourist destinations, into town and to the airport when we left. Overall a wonderful experience and a great start to a French holiday.
