This guesthouse is really special. The rooms are very imaginatively decorated and the whole place was refurbished beautifully in 2017. Bathroom was excellent, bed and the room were both huge and cosy.Luisa was so friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was great, a good selection of meats, cheeses, breads and sweet items, plus eggs cooked to order. The guest house is a short walk from Steeg-Gosau train station and is well placed for a visit to Hallstatt. Bonus: the lovely resident black Labradors :)

Gästehaus "In da Wiesn", a property with a garden, is situated in Ulrichsberg, 43 km from Cathedral Passau, 43 km from Train Station Passau, as well as 36 km from Lipno Dam. Staff was very friendly and accomodating, yummy breakfast including the locally produced Neuburger (don't call it Leberkäse! ;-)) - perfect location near the Böhmerwald golfclub. Nice gettaway.
