We stayed only one night at Rey Guest House with Alexandra and we highly recommend anyone looking for an apartment in Tomar to rent this one. It's big, clean, well decorated, has A/C, well furnished (stove, oven, washing machine), has a nice view and is a 10 minutes walk to downtown Tomar. Our only regret is not staying longer! Obrigado Alexandra!

Great hotel, I would definitely reccomend! Room exceeded our expactation, it is even better in real than on pictures - very cosy, modern and clean, and decorated with so much style fitting to this beuatiful medieaval town. Our room had great view on pool, city centre and medieval castle above city. Breakfast was fantastic. We were amazed by this small town - definitely reccomend visiting old castle and Convento de Cristo, which is walking distance to hotel (15min.) City centre is 3 min walk. Hotel also has beautiful roof top terase where you can enjoy city view (unfortunately this time of year bar was not working but you can bring your own drinks if you want).

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. After spending a few days in the busy city of Lisabon, it was a great place to enjoy some quite nature. The area is very beautiful and the farm has lots of cute animals. The accomondation has a great pool and there is a lake nearby. The room was very nice (the arconditioning is a big bonus). We also enjoyed the love our hosts had for a sustainable way of living. They work very hard, with all their passion, and we were so greatfull to experience their way of living. Would definitely recommend!

Casa do Prado - a very pleasant welcome from our hosts Silvia & Ruud. They went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable and offered an abundance of information. A few relaxing days at this very charming accommodation. So pleasing to see people take on a business and give it 100% commitment to their guests. Terrific that we could park the car and easy walk into town with the festival taking place. Relaxing areas and above ground pool for those warm days. Large garden area and outdoor sitting area. So nice to spend time in their company and Tomar. Highly recommended

The apartment was private and quiet, spacious and very comfortable. The location was central and the Fiesta dos Tabuleiros parade passed right by the front door! Communication with the host was easy. I highly recommend A Gosto for anyone looking for self contained accommodation in Tomar.

Everything was great! Spacious room, very clean, very nice decoration, big bathroom, comfortable bed. Also very nice view. The girl at the reception was very kind and friendly and the breakfast was amazing! All in all a great stay, would happily be back!

A beautifully restored and historic train station. An authentic, time capsule experience. The trains leave from your window. The staff were communicative in advance via WhatsApp. All super clear and keyless entry. Brilliant. The croissants at breakfast were delicious! Dinner recommendation 200m close-by: The "Curry Indian House" was one of the best kitchens I've had the pleasure to taste. Ganesh the owner has put together a phenomenal open kitchen. Art deco glass in the back. Out of the front door of Thomar House, and 200m to the right. 100% recommended Thomar House for the more discerning guests. 😎👌🏼

Very kind owners of the house, lovely yard. Breakfast was freshly baked by the hostess, croissants and bread rolls, cheeses and sausages on a block table, coffee and tea - as much as we wanted.
