I was very happy staying at the Lake Cabin. Everything was excellent. Waking up early to the sounds of birds, sitting on the balcony to watch the sunrise, eating breakfast, and watching fishermen on the lake. Perfect!!! I felt relaxed and enjoyed every minute.

Large comfortable very clean room with view out over the paddy fields, where we saw peacocks and mongoose, but the best part was our wonderful hostess who went out of her way to please all her guests. The meals were delicious and abundant. Thank you.

Nice, simple and very clean homestay, close to the ancient city. Possibility to rent a bike. I stayed only one night. Ravi the owner is very kind, humble and helpful, he even showed me around the lake with bicycles. And he always finds the solution;-)

When visiting the Polonnaruwa Ancient City, he recommended a cost-effective and fantastic tuk-tuk driver. Before departing, he even picked lotus flowers from a pond for me to offer to sleep buddha! Lakshman's thoughtfulness made me have a great impression of Sri Lanka!
