As a solo female traveler, staying here I felt so safe and at home. The owner and his wife are so utterly sweet and hardworking. The owner has a TukTuk and for a very fair price, he picked me up/dropped me off at the train station. On top of this, he offered different excursion options on his TukTuk for tea plantations, hikes, waterfalls, etc. The owner honestly went above and beyond, not only was he a wonderful host, but also a great driver and tour guide. What really touched my heart was when he took me to the Horton Plains National Park and ended up doing the WHOLE hike with me because he did not want me to do it alone and wanted to make sure I was safe. Their home is a very cute 100+-year-old house, with two rooms. The room was spotlessly clean and had comfy beds with warm blankets for the chilly nights. The price includes breakfast and if you have an early excursion/train time they pack you a full breakfast as well! They also offer lunch and dinner, which the wife cooks. It was honestly the best food I had on my trip to Sri Lanka especially the chicken curry and dhal curry.

Very Nice place to stay in Nuwara Eliya. The host is very helpful and friendly man. He explained everything about the city and what is worth to see. The room is very clean and comfy. Hot water in bathroom.

The staff is amazing! They take so good care of you. They help you with everything. Train tickets, transport, restaurant recommendation. The hot shower is working perfectly. So does the wifi. The rooms are nice and cozy.

It is located in a beautiful location with a very beautiful environment. There is a beautiful waterfall. You can get delicious home made food. A little far from the city but a beautiful place with a free environment.

Comfortable beds. Dorm is set up like pods instead of bunk beds so you have more privacy. Sockets to charge in each unit plus lockers. Host is very helpful with information and booking what you need. Guesthouse is modern, clean and a good value. Located in a quieter area away from the bustle of the city but still very close to walk.
