Best part is James himself. I would love to get back here again. Very hospitable The location is great too. Just a couple of blocks walk to the intercity bus terminal. The room was cozy.

The bustation really is close to the hotel and you can reach the national park via bus within a few minutes. If you arrive in Sokcho late in the evening you'll have to take a taxi to the hotel though, since the last bus towards the hotel leaves around 7:45 pm. But its not expensive. The hotel owner is really nice and the rooms are comfortable, we enjoyed our stay there!

The host ist really kind and helpful and speaks English well. The location of the guesthouse is between the city and Seoraksan National Park but in a quiet rural area. The next bus stop is in walking distance. I really liked the room and the view from the balcony. Breakfast was great and brought to the room. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable and had all the necessary facilities in the kitchen and bathroom. It was a quiet relaxing get away and had everything you need. The owner even went above and beyond - I had to get a bus early the next morning back to Seoul and the owner kindly drove me to the station. Highly reccomend staying here! Overall great experience

Great location, about an hour walk to the entrance of the park or 10 min bus/taxi. The bus takes a while to get to sokcho but we got taxis that were cheap (about 18k won). There's a couple of shops and restaurants around but more variety in sokcho

The common areas were nicely arranged, cozy and with a variety of places to sit both indoors and outdoors. The location was also good. We could easily catch buses from the express bus terminal to the hotel and also from the hotel to Seoraksan. Very quiet on a weeknight (and with tourism still limited due to COVID).
