I felt at home, very cozy structure in the middle of nature. The structure was clean. The owner speaks a good English, his kindness has been very appreciated by all of us. His advice were very useful. The restaurant, he has recommended, was excellent (if you are looking for traditional food). The bus stop is close to the structure but it is better to come with your own car. The owner was so kind that allowed us to leave our bags at his place, after check out.

The woman who runs the place is extremely friendly. Her English isn't good but she was so welcoming. when I arrived all hot and sweaty, she gave me some melon and later in the week she also gave my a lovely salad. The breakfast is above average for most hostels because she provides eggs. In addition there is white bread and jam and some ok orange juice. there is a proper coffee machine in addition to the usual coffee and milk sachets. I believe there is some arrangement for laundry and you can dry clothes on the roof. (although I went to a coin laundry ten minutes walk away. many of the useful buses pass along the main road adjacent to the hostel. It is a short walk to Gyongju station where there is an english speaking tourist information booth where they can give you bus times etc. I like that there is a downstairs space where you can sit at a table and work. There are lockers but not big enough for a suitcase. A taxi from the intercity bus station cost about 3700won. the 700 bus on the main road travels to sin gyeongju station.

Great guesthouse experience in traditional style home with modern interior. Rooms are simple futons on the floor (with Korean heated floors). Extremely friendly host, she only speaks Korean. Free onsite parking, bus to downtown and stations are right across the street. Lovely common area. Property is right against national park for tranquility. Wifi available. Free ramen, coffee, tea available. A+ stay for a traditional Korean feel! There is also a woman's only dorm downstairs

A spotlessly clean Pension in a lovely location with a dedicated, fantastic host. A very quiet location for those looking to unwind or experience a slower side to Korea, or a break after time in the bigger cities. Our room was large, and very well equipped, including small kitchenette, fridge, large TV, well equipped wet room, dinning table etc. It was spotlessly clean. The rest of the building we experienced (outdoor areas, garden etc) were also maintained to a very high standard. Outside at the property is a large decked area with seating overlooking a lovely wooded valley. There is a large parking area for those arriving by car. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend for travellers looking for something on the slower side for a few days. A couple of notes for potential guests: the property is in a more rural location, and so ideally needs a car or taxi for access. We used a taxi from Gyeongju which took 15/20mins and was reasonably priced. The Pension does not serve evening meals and so guests should either bring supplies or be prepared to travel to a local restaurant. These are not complaints! Just notes. The advert describes the accommodation well. We saw the pool, but travelling out of the summer season so this was not in use at the time. I’m sure it would be an excellent additional facility in the hot Korean summers! We would highly recommend this Pension!
