We had an apartment on the top floor and enjoyed the best view towards the mountains from the huge terrace. A nice bathroom has a dedicated shower. Owners were nice. Homemade food was really great both for a breakfast and a dinner. The house is close to the shop but away from the busy centre.

Friendly host and a large, comfortable and warm room. The shared kitchen/living room area was also modern and well-equipped. Quiet.

The owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She is very accommodating. You could not ask for a better view. Her dinner was the best I had in Georgia yet. There was a great distance to things.

The host is very friendly and makes sure you have everything you need. She updated me on road closures due to a snow storm and extended my accomodation without problem when I couldn't leave Kazbegi. The place is very close to the bus stop as well. Warm inside the house. And nice mountain view from the window.

Amazing place... Excellent value for money.... Very well stocked kitchen... Owner texts me making sure everything is okay... Very warm and beautiful view with balcony... Hotel qualify... Tv in room and in lounge area... Wifi very good... Bathrooms very high quality. Many guesthouses in Georgia are usually just someone's old house but at golden star they put in a big effort to make it excellent

Very friendly host. Great balcony with supplied blankets for those cold mornings looking at the mountain. Quick walk to the main village. Quiet location. Friendly cat.

Room and bed linens are super clean, super comfortable and warm with the heating as Kazbegi is very cold. There’s a Mountain View at the common area and the teas/ coffees are free. Bathroom have enough hot water for shower too. Location is great as it’s less than 10 mins walk to the main bus station and supermarkets (where you can buy stuff for hiking etc) and restaurants, and you don’t need to climb up a hill with your heavy backpacks or luggages. And the host Thea is super welcoming and make us feel home. She’s one of the best host I’ve met in Georgia.
