Having briefly considered a chain hotel near the train station we jumped at the change to stay at the Loughview when I noticed it on booking.com. The properties on this street are beautiful! Communication throughout was fab and it was lovely to meet both Orla and Steve. The room had everything we needed, the bathroom was lovely and the bed really comfy. There was plenty on offer for breakfast with the added bonus of a fantastic view while we ate! Thank you for opening your home to us. At no point did it feel awkward or like we were intruding (even getting in gone midnight). We would highly recommend staying at the Loughview!

We had such a wonderful weekend here we didn’t want to leave. Stephen was an incredible host, so friendly and available to help if needed. The views from our sea front room was lovely & the bed was incredibly comfortable. Looking forward to being able to visit again.

This is a Victorian style guest house with all the mod cons as well. Great location just by the seafront. Comfortable room, the bed was so comfy too.But what made my stay special were my hosts, Sonia and Gavin, who were simply brilliant. Sonia’s breakfast menu was not your usual fry up, which for me was great. There was a varied selection of healthy, nutritious but none the less delicious offerings. They were so friendly and welcoming and great craic as well. Thank you folks for a great stay!

Lovely guesthouse in a great location. Our room on the top floor was spacious and warm with comfortable beds and a nice view of the sea in the distance. Breakfast was haute - with fresh tasty ingredients presented with style. We enjoyed scrambled egg with home grown green onion and tomatoes; homemade pancakes with high quality melted chocolate; and a flavorsome aesthetically pleasing smoothie bowl. Hosts Sonia and Gavin were super attentive and their commitment to minimising negative impacts on the environment remarkable.
