Newly decorated pension in the centre of Ourense on the border of the old town so excellent location for doing the tapas bars and visiting the local sites. Very friendly communication and the room was very clean and super comfy with plenty of toilet paper, towels, hairdryer and hot water. No tea making facilities but then that is normal in Spain but it did have heating and/ or a ventilater fan if needed. We will definitely return on our next trip to Ourense. A winner. Considering the cost, the rooms are comfortable. Plenty of parking in the hotel. Breakfast is one small glass of orange juice, one hot beverage (coffee, tea, milk), and something to eat (sandwich, croissant, etc). A restaurant and kind of a bar share the same building as the hotel. The heating works well. There's also an elevator. The building is not old and is well-maintained. Maybe there are, but I did not find any major attractions in the neighborhood. If you have a car, you're around 10 km from Ourense and the thermal pools. Check if the pools are open if you're going for the hot springs. I was told that most of them were flooded by the Minho River and there was only one free site and one paid site (both around 15 km from the hotel by car) open to the public.
