We did Vennbahn cycling route and Gastehouse Bendsieferhof is ideal place to have a break. Rooms are comfortable and super clean, breakfasts are perfect and you have space to store your bikes. Owner is very friendly and helpfull! I fully recommend this accommodation.

Nestled in middle of nature, beautiful views and lovely farm animals. The location is bit away from Monschau, but walkable distance and quickly to reach by drive. The hosts are very kind, the breakfast was plentiful and the room was very clean and comfortable. The best part was the view from the room, you wake up watching two beautiful goats, and hearing voices of nature. Hiking trail to High Fens (Venn) is just a stone throw from the property (highly recommended) Also best place to stay if you are looking for free and comfortable parking options

We saw personal only where they were needed: minimal check-in procedures, breakfast and pretty informal check-out. All formalities were really quick and minimal. Reception was actually in the next cafe building. I think during the high season they have everything (there is a place for the keys keeper and so on) but around the low season it is just not needed. On the other side - we did not need any help - everything was just working: single key for entrance and room (I know those systems), well maintained locks, clean minimalistic room (but space was pretty enough). Room had 3 outlets (one right near the bed). There was an additional pillow, standard set of towels, minimal things for the bath, paper - everything very pragmatic and to the point. We loved this approach. Breakfast - buffet, not huge variety but enough. For us it was perfectly fine. And location is just perfect.

The hostvwas very friendly. Excellent location, 10 minutes walking to the old Town. Sound from the river was relaxing. Delicious breakfast
