I really liked this hotel. It is a straightforward, affordable, place to stay in a great city. Being on a bike tour, the fact that the hotel has a garage for bicycles equipped with tools was a very welcome surprise. The room was basic but well laid out with a good desk and an adjoining en-suite. Breakfast was a buffet with ample choice. I had an excellent Turkish meal in a restaurant close to the hotel. The staff were friendly and the hotel is less than a few km away from the Rhine cycle path.

This is perfectly located!!! Close to the Hauptbahnhof, only 2 blocks to bring luggage. And the only 2 blocks every time you want to catch a train or bus! This is family owned! They all speak English. They work very hard and long hours to ensure our stay is perfect. They always communicated and were very helpful. There IS an elevator, too!!! Along with amazing water pressure! The online pictures are accurate! An Apotheke is right next door super convenient. Aldi is across the street! Many food and ice cream options in walking distance. Downtown...10 minute walk! I am so glad I found and booked Hotel National.

The deluxe double room in the tower is amazing, a very large room surrounded by windows that open to a lovely breeze. The bath is large as well with a beautiful class foot tub and separate shower. The breakfast is wonderful too. From the room we watched a swan family playing.

We had a wonderful night here! The hostess was so lovely, enthusiastic and personal, she welcomed us with a drink and recommendations and put out a nice breakfast for us. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with a huge bed and a great bathroom (luxurious shower!). The accommodation is in a beautiful traditional town, walking distance to nice restaurants (recommend Schloss Philippsburg), the Rhine, the castle on the hill and a viewpoint over the village and the castle.

Charming old building, renovated with modern amenities. Easy check-in with a welcoming service representative. Safe and secure bike storage in locked garage a couple of meters from the front door of the hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable. If you can disregard the noise from some pipes or a pump (I still haven't solved the mystery of the source of the noise) you can easily stay here for a while.

The house is in a great location, very quiet and within easy reach of great supermarkets. The attention to us (the even offered to pick us up from the Bahnhof when we had car rental issues) was excellent and the host went the extra mile for us when we left some personal items there.
