We loved loved loved our stay here!! Such a cozy cabin feel. Rooms were very clean. The staff was super nice and attentive. Very kid friendly place. The breakfast is delicious !! Best eggs I have ever eaten at any hotel and their cappuccino is outstanding ! The dining areas are very inviting and have a homey feel. And my kids really enjoyed the small selection of toys available in the breakfast room. The room cleaning service is superb ! I was truly impressed with how neat they left everything in our room. They go above and beyond what is to be reasonably expected! The staff also offered to help carry luggage up to our room which was very kind ! The playground outside of the hotel is amazing and nothing beats the views of the mountains and the personal experience you get with the highland cattle ! It was a visit I will never forget !

The place overall is very good value for the money, I was lucky to have the entire basement of the hostel for myself as it was a low season, so I was totally by myself. The owner/staff member was so sweet he helped me extending my reservation easily and helped me in knowing exact timing of the train and even giving me a small room for myself. The place has everything, good toilet, showers, and a place to make a good hot drink. Breakfast was basic and to me is more than fine, juice, cheese, bread, espresso & coffee and cereals. Love it and the view was spectacular ❤️

Breakfast was delicious, complete with fruits, a selection of yoghurt, delicious breads. The view from the balcony is perfect, with a full view of the Eiger and the canyon. We could see the entrance to the Firstbahn from the breakfast room. The staff was amazing, Helena in particular was very helpful. The decoration is simple and elegant, especially the style on the sheets, curtains, and towels. There are some skulls in the walls from hunted animals which may be creepy or sad to some.
