Amazing food for dinner. Beds were comfortable, and blankets were heated during a very cold night. Bathroom was very clean and modern looking. Environment was beautiful.

This beautifully designed and cosily furnished cottage is an absolute gem! You can enjoy the amazing view into nature from inside through the big windows, from the big porch or - and this was our big highlight - from the fire-heated hot tub. At night you can watch the stars sitting in the hot tub with nothing but nature around. It is simply beautiful and a great place to calm down, relax and enjoy the quiet away from all street noise. Since it is entirely off the grid, it is not affected by loadshedding. We’d highly recommend taking a factory tour in the olive oil factory with Allison while there. Both Allison and Francis are very welcoming, friendly and caring hosts. If we ever make it back to South Africa, the trip up to the farm with this special cottage will be a must on the itenerary!

Located 7 km from the town of Stellenbosch, Gemoedsrus Farm features views of the surrounding winelands and offers amenities including an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue facilities. Linda is the heart of the house and made sure I felt like home. She also organized a wine tasting tour with her friend Francois which I can highly recommend.

Located in Riversdale, Oudebosch Guest Farm offers accommodation with a garden and a terrace. The property is situated 17 km from Hessequa Tourism Information. We absolutely loved staying at Oudebosch Guest farm. The accommodation was so comfortable, the views of the mountains were awe inspiring, lovely pool as well. The cherry on top of the cake however, was the morning horse ride we did with Linda, we are absolute beginners, but Linda and her horses made it seem effortless. Such a lovely ride and wonderful stay.

Set within 10 km of Hick's Art Gallery and 11 km of Montagu Golf Club in Montagu, 360on62 Farm Cottages offers accommodation with seating area. One of the best spots we've stayed at in the Western Cape. We had high hopes for this farm after reading the reviews, but even those didn't do it justice. The sprawling grounds had so many surprises--from the little fountains in the dam to the giant chessboard to the quirky hiking trails to the multiple pools, hot tubs, and fire pits. Our cottage (Pale Chanting) was compact but cleverly laid out and comfortable. It was so relaxing and we were sad to leave. This would be a phenomenal spot for kids, OR a girls' or guys' trip, OR wedding, OR a romantic honeymoon.
