The weather was really difficult the day we reached but our lovely host made sure we reached safe and even offered a heart warming quick meal for us. All the restaurants and grocery store were closed by the time we reached and that was a really nice gesture. The property itself is magical. It is built right next to the Sea by a waterfall and there are some walking trails around. It is beautiful and must be experienced.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Urzelina, Casa d'Avó Guesthouse and Apartment is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain. This guest house was our favorite accommodation during our vacation on the azores. The check-in was super easy, it was very clean (it was cleaned every day) and the rooms were nice. The owner and staff were very friendly and gave us plenty of tips for exploring the island. The common area with the kitchen was very well equipped, there was even a crêpes maker and an orange press and an additional outdoor kitchen. There is enough space for the guests with different tables inside and outside. The outdoor area is also very beautiful, beautiful plants and a direct view of the sea. Everything was perfect and we would love to come back one day.

Fantastic setup with smaller individual room and a large kitchen and living room that was a common space. Beautiful view of Pico (when the weather is clear). Great large porch to enjoy a beverage. Breakfast provided was bread, eggs from the on-site chickens, Jorjense cheese (which is now my favorite) and jam....perfect!

Offering a barbecue and views of the sea, Saint Jorge Farm and Bungalows is located in Velas. Free private parking is available on site. Each room includes a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Fantastic view. Location perfect. Nice goodies like coffee, bread, home made jam. Owner prepared to help with anything. Gave a very good map and explanation of all the sites and places to go to.

Located in Fajã dos Vimes in the São Jorge Island region, Casas Dos Vimes features a patio. Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. We rented 2 houses for 10 people, but they were not close to each other. The owner very kindly noticed our problem and offered us two smaller houses instead of one bigger, so we were then close enough.
