Agriturismo Papyrus is a fascinating assemblage of buildings. The collection of pottery, sculpture, and the like is breathtaking. Our room was actually a suite with many modern features. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We enjoyed seeing the animals. The staff was attentive.

Situated in Agrigento, 30 km from Heraclea Minoa, Agriturismo La Casa di Bacco features accommodation with pool with a view, free private parking, free bikes and a garden. It's a small farm/vineyard, where you can get a new view to countryside of Sicily. It's very cozy, very local, nice for kids. Unbelievable dinner, the best caponata I ate in Sicily. They even have a degustation menu for kids. And of course their own wine. The quest to get to the farm is also a journey :) just follow their direction they text you on whatsapp and you get there. And very very friendly owners

Located in Enna, 24 km from Sicilia Outlet Village and 17 km from Villa Romana del Casale, Agriturismo Borgo Furma offers a garden and air conditioning. Such a beautiful pastoral place, everything was perfecto and belisimo!! Carlo is a great host, the food and wine was so good! An excellent authentic place!

Featuring sea views, La Gelsomina - Etna offers accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 22 km from Taormina Cable Car - Mazzaro Station. Arrived later, but Melania still made sure we were greeted, able to have a glass of wine, and get set up in our room. Their recommendation of the wine bar in Presa is amazing for a quick evening bite and glass - I had a glass while waiting for tapas takeout and taking back to enjoy the sunset w spouse from the terrace outside the room. Breakfast, which was ample w cheese and meat cuts, juices, etc, could be eaten in the main building or a plate prepared to go to the room and enjoy on the terrace. Milk in the room would be nice to go with the coffee pods prior to breakfast, but of course not required. The amenities for cooking were limited but had everything we needed, and the place was super clean. The extra quilts with super thick and helpful with the cooler weather.

Situated within 2.8 km of Lido Signorino Beach and 47 km of Selinunte Archaeological Park, Podere Fossarunza di Carlo Manzo features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Marsala. Great host and great property. This is like mansion house. Our room for 3 persons were specious and beautiful with charm. We enjoyed swimming pool. There is also restaurant where they serve very delicious food. All staff is so nice and helpful. We really enjoyed staying there. Sara is excellent host, manger and owner.

Boasting pool with a view and views of garden, Agriturismo Baglio Calanchi is a farm stay set in a historic building in Modica, 28 km from Cattedrale di Noto. We spent two lovely days in Baglio Calanchi. Giancarlo is a great host and gave us advice about the area and we enjoyed his company. We didn’t win the lottery together but we won a lovely experience that made our trip to Sicily even greater.
