It was clear from the moment of our arrival at Boton d'Oro that we had chosen the right place for our Christmas holiday. Giovanni and the team were extremely hospitable and friendly; also during our stay, they checked multiple times whether everything was alright, or we needed something. We occupied three rooms in total, two double rooms with spa bath, and one superior double room. The two first ones were located in the same cottage, where our breakfast would also be served, and where we would spend time during the evenings by the chimney. The superior double room, was located a few meters further down a path, in a separate cottage. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very warm (a luxury nowadays even in expensive resorts). Every morning the very kind and polite lady (whose name unfortunately we forgot to ask) was greeting us and preparing our breakfast with attention and care. It is hard to not relax and immerse yourself in the peace of this place. The views from Boton d'Oro are stunning; the sun kisses the hill on which the property lies from early in the morning - one could easily spend the entire day admiring the surrounding peaks, or nights admiring the stars and the infinite sky. During our stay we dined several evenings in the restaurant of the farm, where we were utterly satisfied every single time. The politeness of the staff, the quality of the locally sourced ingredients, and the preparation of the dishes were all on point. Our holiday was truly magical, we will think fondly of it for a long time to come, and hopefully we will return there again someday!

It was a wonderful stay on the farm. For breakfast there are fresh products from the farm. Ideal for nature lovers. The host Alessia was very friendly and helpful.

We had to book a room last minute and they were so accommodating. We were picked up from the train station, free of charge, and able to schedule a ride to the airport, with the same kind and generous person, at 5am the next morning for a decent price. The atmosphere was unique, serene and just what we needed to relax before traveling again. The aesthetic detail of the room, the furniture, room size, shower was exquisite. We received such personal service, including someone helping us order food to eat in a nice dining area with a kitchenette for use. It's remote and relaxing with excellent service, especially for those who only speak English.

Agriturismo B&B Caffè e Vino se află în Sondrio și pune la dispoziție vedere la munte, precum și o grădină, o terasă și un bar. Just wow! The stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The place is fresh new, very clean and modernly designed. All the essentials (towels, sheets, shower soaps) are of the highest quality. The rooms are clean, spacious, air-conditioned and have a nice view to green fields from the balcony. The beds are large and very comfortable. The access is very easy. there is a private parking and a small elevator to get your luggage to the room with ease. The staff is amazing and very welcoming. We were welcomed with complimentary glass of wine (and then a few more :)) and fresh water during the check-in. We then received a detailed introduction to the area around the place, with many good recommendations for the next day. A lot of thing to see and places to visit around for the wine lovers (but not only). The breakfast was amazing: eggs made for our request, juice, vegetables, breads, local cheeses, cookies and coffee. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Casale al Foino se află în Induno Olona și oferă vedere la munte, o piscină în aer liber sezonieră, o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă și un bar. It was quite expensive and the hot tub/spa wasn’t working but the accommodation and staff were excellent and it felt like home…

Il Bisteca se găsește în Morbegno, la 49 km de Villa Carlotta, și are vedere la munte, WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. This was an amazing place to stay, despite being near to a road, well, about one or two hundred metres away, you couldn't hear it at night. The B&B is right in the middle of a field surrounded by fabulous views, greenery and places outside to sit. The room had a kettle for making a drink, and tea etc too. The room was lovely and comfortable and had a balcony as well, which was an added bonus. There were places to eat within walking distance, La Lacanada did a gorgeous meal although they were a little standoffish with us when we first walked in, they got better, and the meal was worth it. We had a good sleep, and then had an absolutely amazing breakfast, the staff were lovely, and their choice of music for the breakfast room definitely matched my tastes.
