Situated across from Central Park in Kaohsiung, Hotel Indigo Kaohsiung Central Park features a rooftop bar and restaurant. The location is the best just few minute walk from exit 2 of MRT Central Park. The hotel is elegant, clean, good English speaking staffs at front desk, has cafe at the lobby also. Our room 915 was comfortable with 2 beds and one sofa bed for 3 persons, big and airy, nice designs, one wall has ceiling to floor glasses window with view of the city. The bathroom is big with shower and bathtub that separated from the toilet area. The best water flow and good WiFi. This hotel became to be my favorite of my 10 days trip in Taiwan.

Ideally set in Kaohsiung, River inn Station features a continental breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. This 3-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. Really helpful, friendly staff, lovely design and the breakfast was great. The room was really nicely designed. Close to Kaohsiung and Formosa Boulevard stations so really good for getting to Zuoyang for the high speed rail and for the MRT to get everywhere else.

The location of the hotel in relation to the station and public transport was excellent! There is also a night market a few minutes' walk away from the hotel, and the nearest underground station is the 'dome of light'. The vast majority of places to visit are within easy reach of the hotel, either by transport or on foot. The room was spacious and clean, the staff very friendly and I appreciated the free self-service drinks (coffee, tea and hot chocolate) and ice creams. I was able to check in a little earlier and that was much appreciated too. Breakfast is decent, even if the choice of sweet dishes is limited and fruit is perhaps missing to make it more complete. However, it does give you the opportunity to taste Taiwanese breakfasts!

Kindness Hotel – Qixian is just a 7-minute walk from the Kaohsiung Train Station and Liuhe Night Market. It features a business centre, free bicycle rentals and complimentary WiFi access. The facilities were great and the staff very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.
