Extremely friendly and helpful staff - Björn in the reception was exceptionally helpful - we were allowed late check out (2pm) at no extra cost! This is one of the best and friendly hotels we have ever stayed at and this will be our preferred hotel in Stockholm next time we visit!

This hotel was perfect for me! My summer travels theme was boats, and it fit right in. I loved all the Lord Nelson related kitsch and was quite fascinated by the story of the family that collected all this memorabilia -- also for its two nearby sister hotels. I loved my cabin-like room and albeit it was small, it was quaint, comfortable and a great value, and I fell in love with the adorable Ship Night Light. The (twin) bed was super comfortable and the shower was fantastic -- and though it was warm out, the heated bathroom floor was nice to have. The breakfast was not a huge spread, but just right with a good variety. The location was excellent, in the heart of the Old City (Gamla Stan) so close to everything. As I was there in the high season, the area could become packed with tourists, but that's the price you pay to be in the best location. For what was provided, I felt this was a great value for the price. I'll be back!
