Well set in Porto, Ribeira Douro Hotel features 2-star accommodation close to Palacio da Bolsa and Ferreira Borges Market. This hotel had not been open very long at the time of my stay, but I made the booking based on photos, location, price, and the knowledge that it was newly opened. I don't know the prior use for the space, but they have turned the old structure into a nice fourteen-room boutique hotel. It's tucked away in a small street near the Douro in a great location (though you are by the river, so many things are uphill from there). Check-in was a breeze and the staff were friendly and informative. Other interactions with the staff during our stay were all positive, though we didn't really have any special needs. The decor, fixtures, rooms, and such were all very well done - it is clear it was new, but it also appeared to be built well. The breakfast was more than expected in terms of variety, and the quality was also good. Noise from the street was a bit of concern upon realizing our room faced the street and had balconies, but we heard very little sound from outside. I was very happy with this hotel and wish them great success.

Location, the best most service oriented team that truly went above and beyond. A welcome note with cookies, a personal note from Sandra the manager, amazing breakfast. I highly recommend the property.

The staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was top class definitely kept us "going" all day. Located in the heart of all the attractions. We stayed here before our river cruise and they upgraded us for our second stay.

Hotel da Bolsa is nestled within Porto’s historic Ribeira district, just 100 metres from the neoclassical Palácio da Bolsa (Stock Exchange Palace). It offers breakfast and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Clean room, bar and restaurant. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect location, but not noisy at all, we could sleep very well.
