From the moment I checked-in, I felt welcome, and I have to mention the very attentive staff, especially in the breakfast room. They made sure you never ran out of (well-made) coffee and juice , and if you wanted something else than from the buffet, They would offer you a variety of choises from the menu. Absolutely wonderful breakfast. The room was lovely and at my arrival there was a bottle of water and a plate of pastel de nata. Really nice. I was quite surprised that I had a seaview in the distance from my room on the 3rd floor. The crown in the juvel was the rooftop terrace with heated pool, bar and nice lounge music. I will definately return to Renaissance hotel another time.

The beds were exceptional. Our other hotels on the trip had comfortable beds, but with myself and husband being taller, we really liked the King sized beds they offered. The breakfast was great and well stocked, the staff was very accommodating and helpful with directions. We were right across the street from the Metro Station, so convenient.

Set right next to Lapa Church, the hotel is 900 metres from Aliados Avenue. very clean and an easy walk down hill to city center. marques subway station an easy walk to hotel. take a cab up the hill unless u have strong legs. I’m 70 so for less than $3.00 easy trip

Set in a historic mansion overlooking Praça De República garden, this hotel in Porto’s city centre features ornate architectural details. Trindade Metro and Railway Station is 5 minutes’ walk away. What a beautiful little gem! I loved the homeland my kids were amazed and really enjoyed it. I can't believe it's considered to be only a two star hotel. We stayed there for Christmas and just being in the room was already great. Great bed, great design with high ceilings that are beautifully decorated and as a bonus a beautiful large terrace with a beautiful city view. We will be definitely coming back to this hotel.
