Housed in a historic building from 1876, Opus XVI, an Edvard Grieg Heritage Hotel, is a luxury hotel located in central Bergen featuring individually designed rooms and suites. I had a chance to stay in 2 different hotels during my staying in Bergen: Opus XVI and Hotel Norge by Scandic. And I can confirm that Opus XVI has a better room and also service. I’d come back for sure!

Bergen Harbour Hotel, World Hotels Crafted is centrally located in Bergen, 1 km from Bergen University. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. This hotel is really lovely, comfortable and clean and perfect for my short trip to Bergen. I appreciated being able to open windows in my room ( 309). The location can’t be beat. I would highly recommend and will definately return in future.

Located on top of Kløverhuset, Magic Hotel Kløverhuset offers modern accommodation in central Bergen. The UNESCO-listed Bryggen Wharf is 400 metres from the property. Everything, it was an absolute pleasure staying there.

Located in an old stock exchange building from 1862, Bergen Børs Hotel offers accommodation in central Bergen, 700 metres from Bergen University. the impeccable cleanliness and efficiency of everything. as thoughtful as you’d expect from the lovely Norwegians

Located next to Bergen Train Station, Zander K Hotel offers designer hotel accommodation in Bergen, 1.1 km from Bergen University. Location is excellent, next to train station, but very quiet room and a short walk to the waterfront. Room was clean but rather cramped. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast and dinner meals at the restaurant were good.

Offering a sky bar overlooking the mountains and Bergen, this Scandic hotel is located next to Bergen Train Station. The breakfast was fabulous, the room was comfy and the bed comfortable, the location was good, the hotel restaurant/bar was nice, too. I was visiting my sister who lives in Bergen.

Set on the same grounds as the Michael Monastery in the Nordnes area of Bergen, Klosterhagen Hotel offers free WiFi and rooms with tea and coffee facilities. Bergen Aquarium is a 10-minute walk away. Smallroom but very quiet and cosy
