It was a bit out of the way from the city center, but it was quiet and in a beautiful setting, and the nearby stores/farmers market had everything we could need. The owner was very gracious and was able to give us pointers on visiting the city, even warning us of the last train scheduled to get there from Centraal without our needing to ask. There were even bikes and a canoe which we could use (if it hadn't been quite so cold).

This family accommodation is situated on the ground floor of a waterfront villa in Amsterdam. The property is located 12 minutes from the historical centre of Amsterdam. Located just a short metro ride from Centraal Station, this location is great. Dining and shopping are close, yet a serene canal is outside your gigantic window.

It was really a pleasure for us to get back to Villa Yburg every day after our visits in the touristic, busy downtown. Our bed was huge and comfortable, our bathroom was dreamlike (and also huge), we simply loved the place - and also the warm welcome by Floris. The place has a fantastic location, quiet and relaxed, close to nature, but with very good public transport to the city center (by tram). We also discovered that there is a direct bus connection (66) to the Johan Cruyff ArenA which we appreciated as we visited a concert there.

Hey there! I just wanted to share my thoughts on this amazing place we stayed at recently. It was a cozy and comfortable place; I absolutely loved it! The best part was that they provided us with a book with all the information needed about nearby establishments, which was very helpful. What I liked most about the place was its serene and peaceful atmosphere. The surrounding vicinity was also beautiful and picturesque. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and tranquil stay.
