I read a lot of reviews when selecting hotels on booking.com but rarely do I provide a review myself. This is absolutely the place to stay in Yangon. The hotel is one of the most beautiful and well appointed hotels I’ve ever stayed in - it rivals beautiful 5 star hotels in London or New York but at a fraction of the price. But the real stand out is the staff - they made us feel safe, secure, always friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Myanmar has significant challenges with civil unrest and yet this hotel - amid great difficulty - stays open and provides an exceptional, safe and friendly experience. So many other large international hotels have shut - it’s a testament to the staff and owners this hotel remains open and running in such a professional way. Breakfast was delicious and we also had lunch and dinner at the hotel - all three I can recommend. I also tried the spa and had a Burma massage and it was great. We loved Yangon and we loved this hotel!

Ideally located in the center of Yangon, Hotel Balmi has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. The location is great, with easy access to points of interest as well as markets. The rooms are modern, super clean and well maintained. The staff were courteous and went beyond their way to make us comfortable and accommodate our requests. The breakfast spread is decent. We felt it was great value for money and would surely visit again.

I would like to say thank you to ouner and friendlu stuff of this hotel! Big fresh rooms, fresh bed sheets, towels, and so on. Nice stron aircon. And especialy i was surprised with roof top restaurant. And breakfast. Nice nice people. Much love!!!
