FH Grand Hotel Mediterraneo is set on the banks of River Arno, 1 km from Piazza Santa Croce. Rooms offer free WiFi, and there is an à-la-carte restaurant serving Tuscan dishes and special diet menus. Nice hotel with very convenient location. The breakfast was also very nice.

Set in a 19th-century villa by the banks of the River Arno, Hotel Arno Bellariva is 900 metres from Piazza Michelangelo square. It offers a garden and patio, plus free WiFi throughout. The reception was really helpful and polite whenever I had questions. The room was great and location was fantastic!

Hotel Grifone Firenze - Urban Pool & Spa offers rooms in a quiet, residential area of Florence with excellent transport links. The hotel offers free WiFi and 24 hour front desk. When booking the room, I made a mistake and booked it for 2 adults (we also had our two boys with us). The reception quickly corrected my mistake and found us an accommodating room. And the breakfast here had the best breakfast options I've ever seen. Scrambled and boiled eggs, so many different coldcuts options, pastries, salad, breads, drinks, fruits, etc - nothing was missing. Lastly, the hotel has a spa downstairs, that you have to book ahead of time, and you get 90min just for you. There is a lava room, sauna, steam room, quiet room, and pool.

A highly recommended place to stay in Florence. Not in town centre, so away from traffic and noise. It is situated in a quiet residential area, on a quiet street, so no noise from outside. In any case the accommodation is to the rear of the building on the ground floor. Excellent and frequent bus service minutes from the flat to reach the town centre and/or railway station in around 15/20 minutes. Everything you need is there. Friendly owner, who met us at the flat for keys and introduction, also left some coffee, tea, biscuits, jam and even Nutella for first breakfast. Some other basic groceries too! Endless opportunities for shopping nearby. We didn't have a car....

Staðsett aðeins 50 metra frá upphaf sögulega miðbæjar Unesco og á 3. hæð í byggingu frá því snemma á 19. öld. Boðið er upp á farangurslyftu sem hentar aðeins fyrir farangur. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. They even showed us on map many places to visit and gave us great recommendations for coffee place and restaurants. They also stored our bags the last day of our stay, which was a great help. Room was very clean and quite big, with new furniture with plenty of space to put stuff (even space for shoes and bigger luggage). All toiletries were provided and bathroom was spotless.
