Built in 1973, the iconic The Taj Mahal Tower Mumbai stands majestically across from the Gateway of India, overlooking the Arabian Sea. The whole atmosphere at Taj is wonderful. Staff are so nice and helpful with all needs. We like the poolside/patio very much. Just sitting there in the evening relaxing is perfekt. And take a late swim in the dark. We also appreciate that we could stay at the hotel using the facilities during the last day, when we had a late flight. That was so nice.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel near the Gateway of India. The hotel faces the harbor and you can get great view from the rooftop restaurant, where breakfast is also served. (Psst ask for the masala omelette) Staff went out of their way to ensure my comfort.
