I have no idea why the rating is so low but it was a great stay and I even had a heater working🤣 You can get here by bus at 2 pounds - the stop is outside, it is a quiet and safe neighbourhood there is Lidl on the way to get some food. Check in is remote - you get your room number and a code for the keys - the locker can be tricky - push harder to open. Towels and linen were included in the rate, soap and shampoo. They even provide a small tea pot, that was very lovely along with coffee. The rooms and property are a bit outdated and it’s not that fancy of a place but among all the variants in Manchester this was the best. You can also use a kitchen to heat smth.

The Ainscow Hotel is set next to Salford Central Railway Station and just 10 minutes’ walk from Manchester’s lively centre and the trendy Northern Quarter. TThe room was bigger than I expected. Friendly staff and good prices at the bar, the pizza was so good. I had a realy nice time.

The hotel was great value and the staff were the nicest, friendliest I have ever met. We felt very welcome. The reception area had plenty of low budget snacks and drinks available to purchase.
