Ideally set in the Westminster Borough district of London, Kensington Gardens Hotel is located a 16-minute walk from Paddington Station, 1.5 miles from The Serpentine and 1.7 miles from Royal Albert... All the staff - in all parts of the hotel - were EXCEPTIONAL. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, after a six day stay. On arrival our Booking.com reservation had been misplaced but an efficient charming receptionist sorted it out immediately, apologised and smiled and had us in our room pronto. The Breakfast staff were so fast and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Housekeeping staff were great. Our room was always spotless. At a previous accommodation my wife had an accident and bad gash on her leg. Hospital visits and medical centres later we arrived at Kensington Gardens Hotel. A young staff member instantly provided ice to reduce swelling and next morning at breakfast was so solicitous and caring. The list could go on. I thanked and congratulated the Manager about her staff when we left. Oh... and breakfast is wonderful and plentiful too.

Simple room but has everything u need. The breakfast was simple. Love the location, it is near bayswater station, safe and peaceful. Numerous restaurants and launderette nearby. Super convenient for a solo traveller.

This hotel is located a short walk from Hyde Park, in the quiet surroundings of Bayswater. The rooms on the back of the hotel are exceptionally peaceful, especially for central London, so we slept very well. Very comfortable beds and the linens, towels, bathroom, toiletries etc were of a high standard. Smart and clean rooms although the entrance feels dark and dour.
