Set within the Zamalek district on the Nile River, the New President Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with LCD TVs. It also features an á la carte restaurant with a bar. I stayed 5 nights at the hotel and really enjoyed it. It’s conveniently located in vibrant Zamalek and is within walking distance from coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets etc. The staff were exceptional, always going above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable during my stay. The lady that cleaned my room everyday was the lovely Nada who was so warm and kind and did an excellent job. If you are a solo female traveler, I would put this at the top of my list

Spacious, comfortable room with a nice balcony. Unlike the room booked by the other members of our group, this room was ready on time and we were actually able to use it early. The hotel let us store our bags at reception for a night while we went on an overnight trip out of the city. The restaurant on the roof has good food and a nice view. The room was well equipped with tea, coffee, hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, etc. The bed was really comfortable.

Overlooking the Nile River, the newly refurbished The President Hotel Cairo is located in Zamalek district. The hotel is clean, nice , rooms are clean and cozy . Not huge , not luxurious but perfectly adequate . Breakfast is fantastic , the staff couldn’t be nicer, specially the bellhops . The area is where all the embassies are so it is convenient , quiet and nice Great price too

מלון קהיר מריוט (Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino) ממוקם באזור זאמאלק (Zamalek Island) בקהיר, וכולל חדרים מפוארים עם מרפסת שמשקיפה על נהר הנילוס או על הגנים, קזינו ו-15 מסעדות וברים. I loved this hotel but it's ruined me for other hotels in Egypt! I mean, it has everything -- nice staff, helpful at every turn without being intrusive. Nice rooms, with lovely beds/pillows and cleaned daily. Bathroom was big and shower was wonderful. We didn't order room service, but we did eat on site once and it was a nice experience, with prices I thought were reasonable, along with good options. The area around the hotel is also very nice to walk around. There is a park, the Nile, and plenty of shops and restaurants and book stores.

This hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV, a fitness centre and a well-equipped spa. It features a restaurant with panoramic Nile views and city views. Amazing spot, super beautiful, honestly for any Oum Kaltoum fan this place is heaven

מלון גולדן טוליפ פלמנקו קהיר (Golden Tulip Hotel Flamenco Cairo) ממוקם ברחוב שליו עם עצים, משקיף לנהר הנילוס, ונמצא במרכז המסחרי של האי זאמאלק (Zamalek). I liked the big room and atmosphere, Very easy to reach to anything in the city. Good view. Very comfortable bath and facilities.

The Nile Zamalek Hotel has a rooftop bar offering stunning views of the river Nile and the district of Zamalek. It features large, air conditioned rooms with private balconies. Egypt is the third world. By that measure, this hotel is very good to excellent. Straight out the door, about 100 meters is an excellent sandwich, omelet shop.
