Boutique & Design Hotel Volkshaus Basel features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Basel. With free WiFi, this 4-star hotel offers room service and a concierge service. Location is adequate, as it is around a 10-15 min walk from the city center, but that's completely manageable if the weather permits. Crossing the bridge was always a very pleasant journey. The hotel has so much history and artistry, I sincerely urge the Hotel Manager to put up more pamplets or signs in order to help guests to better understand the historical value of the hotel and how much heart it took to completing it! The staffs were extremely helpful and passionate, I couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience. Can't wait to be back!

The Merian Basel Hotel is situated right on the river Rhine, in the heart of Basel, offering you charming rooms. The location was the best. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and very relaxing. The breakfast was really good, including the special offer. All the ladies at the reception were ready to assist, and the staff in the breakfast room were extremely welcoming, making it a perfect start to the day. The biggest advantage of booking at this hotel is the option of traveling for free with public transport (including a bus to the airport) and getting half-price admission to many visiting sites.

The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. Perfect location. Helpful staff. The hotel itself is beautiful, located in a very nice, old building. It was clean.

It’s basically an Airbnb, but this was already clear from the descriptions here. Fully equipped kitchen, nice balcony, typical bathroom with good shower in bathtub. Photos here are accurate, so don’t expect a luxury boutique resort, but a very nice and clean, practical and independent apartment.

Fully equpied aparment, spaceius, great locattion, clean and tidy. Great price for Basel.The host even let us in before check in time. Would highly recoment tp any future guests.
