Christina was amazing! We are Americans and don’t speak a lick of Portuguese and although her English wasn’t strong either, (but it’s 2023 and phones and google exist) so that wasn’t a problem AT ALL. She made sure we comfortable and had fun. She checked on us regularly. The location is safe and is in walking distance of great food, bars and shopping. I kinda didn’t want to do a review because I wanted to keep this hidden gem to myself, but Chris deserves all the raving reviews she can get. Thank you so much for making our Rio experience so amazing!

Villa Paranaguá Hotel & Spa - Boutique Hotel ligger i Rio de Janeiro, 2 km fra Flamengo Strand og 600 m fra Escadaria Selarón. An oasis of calm with a lush garden and beautiful views. Feels more like a friend’s home than a hotel. Friendly and attentive service. Rooms are beautifully appointed and super comfortable. Staff go above and beyond to deliver the best experience, kudos especially to Pablo and Dominique at the bar. If you’re looking for calm and tranquility, this is the place for you.

Fantastic location with the most amazing views and a beautiful property so tranquil with amazing birds, trees and even some cute local wildlife. Food was excellent, hotel beautifully decorated and great staff

Located in the historical and cultural heart of Rio de Janeiro, this 5-star boutique hotel offers a unique concept of tropical design and panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro’s bay. The whole stay was amazing, the staff in reception were so friendly and helpful; they booked tickets and restaurants for us and gave us recommendations of what to see/do whilst in Rio! The breakfast was the best breakfast we had during our time in Brazil, so many options which were all fresh and lovely! The room was amazing, really clean and comfy and overlooking the pool! Couldn’t recommend this hotel more!

Tião Botelho Guest House ligger i Rio de Janeiro og tilbyder indkvartering kun for voksne med have, fælles opholdsstue og grillfaciliteter. I was in Rio de Janeiro for a week and wanted a place not too expensive, from where I could visit the city : it's near the Lapa neighborhood who's a place to see, there are groceries and restaurants nearby, etc. And for the most touristic places of the city, I went by taxi. I also wanted a place where I could have some calm for working on my computer : I stayed many afternoon on the balcony, it was perfect, sunny but not to hot and really quiet (as for the nights). The owner is really nice and makes you feel at home. For me, it's a great place for backpackers with low budget who wants to visit Rio and stay in a less-touristic area than Copacabana.

Casa Nova Hotel ligger i Rio de Janeiros centrum, i det trendy Lapa-distriktet, 10 km fra Kristus Frelseren. Gæsterne kan nyde stedets bar. It has a good location, has a nice pool and everyone is polite

Rio de Janeiros historiske og kulturelle kvarter Lapa ligger lige uden for Hotel Americano. Samtlige værelser er udstyret med aircondition og kabel-tv. Der er gratis parkering. My room was large and my bathroom had been newly renovated and had a large jacuzzi. I also had a small entrance room that had a fridge and computer table. I was comfortable and overall enjoyed my stay. The location is relatively central although you do have to walk a bit to the metro.
