The location was perfect, as it was closer to the airport. Beautiful surroundings with ocean views from the room, The staff were wonderful! accommodating and very friendly. They made us feel at home! Special thanks to Nanci Ramos and Ann from the front desk! They were fun and very helpful!! The breakfast was elaborate and had everything you could possibly want! It is a superb apartment with a shared common room and private bedrooms.
It is really comfortable, clean and close to the tide pools in the ocean.
Plus the owners are really nice, my return flight was delayed and they were very accommodating with that.

I would highly recommend to stay in Casa dos Botes! The house has a unique history and the objects each tell their own stories...David the host is super skilled and made himself many of the decoration, or he can tell you where each piece comes from - that in itself will make you travel! He is very generous and gives a lot of tips, advice and will make you feel at home in Casa dos Botes! I will for sure be back in this little paradise!
The village is small and on Sundays there’s only two...
The village is small and on Sundays there’s only two restaurants open (low season). Weather is unpredictable and not so warm (18°C). Our host Ricardo recommends coming here in September when it’s still warm and the sea is about 25°C. We saw a lot of trekkers everywhere. On Flores you definitely would need a car. Close to the village iate a couple of stunning waterfalls.
