The room was immaculate. Had everything you need for an overnight stay or longer. The view was gorgeous. Bed was very comfortable. The small touches made it extra special. Fresh flowers displayed on our towels. Candles around the bath. Complimentary Sherry & also other beverages available if you wanted to indulge. The art was also a lovely added bonus.

The room is very spacious. The bed is firm and very comfortable. It's just been renovated, with a new carpet, and a new bathroom. I like the French door that gave access to the car park without going around through the corridor and reception area.

We visited for a family celebration in Plimmerton which was 5 mins away. Would return to stay because of what we realise is on offer as a break away!
We ate at Topor a gem of a restaurant 5 minutes away - Polish cuisine
Relaxing coastal location; friendly locals; beautiful peaceful and inspiring oceanscapes; delicious light for photography; small village feel; not dominated by shops or vehicles; Sunny and energising with the ocean so close and great walking options.
Very close to Wellington City, Porirua, Hutt Valley. Can easily be accessed by train journey - station is just a few minutes walk from Pukerua Bay village. Easier to access from the south but can be challenging turning off SH1 coming up the hill from the North. There is a turning lane but quite narrow. Traffic flows on SH1 can be quite steady so timing of drive onto / off SH1 is recommended. We had friendly considerate motorists wave us through when leaving to cross SH1 heading south to go home - they slowed down to allow us through the gap in the traffic.
Handy to the popular Kapiti coast and shopping/cafes/restaurants, but gives a sense of freedom from the hustle and bustle of city living. Calm, small scale and such an inspiring environment to enjoy.

Location was excellent for getting around the area, with fabulous sea views from my accommodation. Transport links were close enough if I had needed to use them and there were plenty options for eating casually or good dining in the area.

This is a great location and being on the northern edge of Wellington it meant I could head back up to Auckland quickly on my last day. While staying here I could pop down to seaside Plimmerton (less than 5 mins in the car) for my cafe fix and takeout dinners.
