This property was a delight for nature lovers! It offered a welcome escape from the tourist crowds, providing a peaceful and authentic Balinese experience. The highlight for me was the abundance of birdlife in the garden. I spotted a variety of colorful birds throughout the day, and even Bali Mynas flitting around.
I highly recommend booking a birdwatching tour with Putu, the host. Putu's knowledge of the local birds is impressive, and the tour was a fantastic way to explore the surrounding farms, mangroves, and beaches. Putu's guidance helped me spot a wider variety of birds than I could have on my own.
Overall, this property is perfect for those seeking a tranquil stay surrounded by nature.

The stay is very nice, I really liked the outdoor bathroom. And the most beautiful is the garden and the porch where you sit and have breakfast. The host is one of the nicest people we met, he made us delicious breakfast, coffee and was very interesting to talk to and even explained us about the culture over some free drinks he provided. A really hospitable person and a very beautiful Homestay.
Boasting rustic rooms surrounded by nature and wildlife, NusaBay Menjangan is the only resort located within West Bali National Park.

Staff is kindly and breakfast is good.
We could see many kinds of animals and birds (monkeys, deers, wild pig, and Jalak Putih) in the site.
We were able to eat breakfast while watching a deer and its baby seeing the sunrise on the horizon.
We enjoyed snorkeling, kayak, and Indonesian afternoon tea with free.

Well the main attraction off Banyuwedang is the people really , such genuine friendliness is rare in the world . I liked diving at menjangan island and permuteran . The west Bali natural park is worth to see but a bit pricey at 1400K hiking with guide . The highlight was the trip to the Ijen Vulcano ( ferry to java ) . Don't expect good eating opportunities as this place is really not touristic . Best eating was at white sandy beach hotel . Hotspring was also very nice . Give the place a week of your time not more .

Place is peaceful and less tourists and foods and drinks are not too expensive as other places. It had its charm of its own. If you like nature this is a must place to visit. Take time thou because long hours to reach from Denpasar Airport but its worth it.
Unbelievably special hotel with the kindest host! I’ve stayed in some pretty luxurious and fancy hotels in my life (Ritz Carlton, The Edition) and I can honestly say that this place beats them all. The view from the villas and pool is breathtaking. The attention to detail is impressive. And I really can’t overstate how kind and helpful the host (Made) and his family are. This part of Bali is also so much more authentic and less touristy than the hot spots down south. You will not regret booking here. We are already planning our trip back.
The Menjangan by Lifestyle Retreats was a remarkable stop on our Bali tour, nestled within Menjangan National Park. The hotel exuded a safari-like ambiance, complete with encounters with various animals, including curious monkeys. Though the beach was 2km away, regular safari car transfers made it easily accessible. Upon departure, the hotel arranged a taxi, and our friendly driver, Aris, made the long journey more enjoyable. Overall, The Menjangan provided an unforgettable safari experience amidst the beauty of Bali's nature.
Ida is one of the best people I’ve ever met. She’s an absolute credit to Bali tourism. So helpful, kind, friendly. Just the best. She organised tours for us (at rates cheaper than people from other properties paid), scooter hire, driver to our next property, etc. When I got a mild case of Bali Belly, she even made me a special meal of a rice porridge that she makes for her husband when he’s unwell.
Absolutely 100% recommend this property.
Ida, the host, made us feel so at home. she looked after us and took such good care of us. the bed was comfortable and the villa was spacious- very luxurious! ida organized our snorkel trip and cooked us several delicious homemade Balinese meals (including vegetarian options, which I really appreciated!) We had a great time here and would love to stay again.
This is a beautiful property with a wonderful staff, they were extremely kind and helpful. They took me to visit a beautiful nearby temple; I didn’t have the correct clothes so the owner of this property lent me a sarong, shirt and headwear. The food was delicious and I got to taste a full range of typical west Bali cuisine during my stay.
we stayed in a private villa with plunge pool and hot spring spa whats
not to like?
the restaurant staff are just what you would expect from such a remote area of bali, wonderful, friendly ,always smiling and always happy to help. the menu is basic, hopefully this will soon improve
This hotel is a bit like entering one of those idilic screensavers on your computer. The waters are turquoise, the rooms are spacey, beds super comfy, breakfast is great, staff is friendly. Really can't say anything bad about this place, and it is great value for money. Go try it!
Definitely going back again,Odiyana is a nice hotel with hot water tub.
And the Reception ( Kadek ) treat you politely and respectfully. In fact all staff is very friendly, polite and respectful.
Breakfast needs more options. But it's OK...
Had this been my first accommodation in Bali, I’d probably given it a 9/10. While all the staff was nice and willing, it felt like there was some basic training and management missing. For the off season price it was more than okay though.
Its a nice piece of Paradise hidden in Menjangan village. Yuda made the best to make our stay very enjoyable and organised our local tours, from diving to sightseeing elsewhere in Bali and Ijen vollcano. Great breakfast too!
very quiet and cozy, especially nature friendly!
staff are very kind, room is very big and cozy. foods are good.
and we did snorkeling at the beach and tracking. it was very fun!
u can realx here and enjoy Bali nature
Nice pools and hot springs. One of the pools and restaurant had a great sunset view. Nice buffet breakfast
Great snorkeling at the nearby Island. Boats to the island pick you up at the resort.
Peaceful hotel within a national park with deer and monkeys on the beach. Spent 3 days which seemed like the perfect amount of time for snorkeling and enjoying the wildlife.
Everything is so perfect! People work there, they are super friendly and lovely! Everything is clean and beautiful! And the food is so delicious. The best Homestay in Bali.
