They made the breakfast for you individually and it was good. We did not have to follow the menu that was given and could ask for what we wanted.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Staff was helpful and friendly. Perfect location for a late-night arrival by bus into town -- just steps away from the bus station. Very close to shops and the abbey. Side door available to make it easy to get in and out of the "bedrooms" part of the pub without having to go through the pub itself. The room was clean and comfortable.

Wonderful location with direct views and access to the Tor. Incredibly peaceful during the day and night. I stayed in a glamping pod which was perfect for one person and had plenty of intimacy. Can't wait to be back!

All the amenities in the room are top class and show us how considerate & attentive our host is.

The attractions are all close to each other and walkable without needing transport. The Chalice Gardens are a serene and wonderful place to visit and definitely recommended. The waters are highly rich in iron and can be drunk in small amounts from the lion's head fountain (tested for potability). It is possible to paddle in the water due to its legendary healing properties. I would have visited the White Water Spring also, but it was closed on the day we visited as it is volunteer run and depends on their availability. The town is very interesting, especially if you are into crystals. We had lunch in one of the many restaurants, cafes and bistros. A climb up the Tor is a must for the view from the top. There were three musicians making music in the tower and it was wonderful, it made my whole visit perfect. A visit to Glastonbury is as magical as its legends.

I've visited Glastonbury many times and it never gets old.
I've visited Glastonbury many times and it never gets old. There is something very unique about this place. Embrace the quirkiness, enjoy the history, amble around the shops full of all things 'witchy' and have a pint at the pub. You won't regret it.

If you’re into alternative lifestyles laid back people, walks up the tor, live music, therapies and crystals you will love. Huge choices of esoteric goods. As ever be discerning in what you choose to do or buy! The Crown in the centre is a good option for Glasto attuned food with the kitchen open most of the day plus pub atmosphere! Handy when most of the cafes are closed in the late afternoon/ evening (review written in January!)

Glastonbury and the surrounding area has a host of places of interest, especially if one is spiritually inclined. The town itself is full of interesting shops, although in the evening, lacking paces to eat after about 5 p.m, particular veggie and vegan.
A must see is the Tor itself, and the Chalice Well and other springs beneath it. Nearby is St Margaret's chapel and Wearyhill, which hosts the Gastonbury thorn, and also a fine countryside museum. Within the town is Glastonbury Abbey which also has a magical thorn and the said graves of King Arthur and Guinevere.
Worth exploring and not too distant are Stonehenge , Avebury stone circle and, at West Kennet, an ancient stone circle.
The Woodshed is a lovely stylish and spacious cottage in a quiet location with beautiful countryside views. It is near enough to the owners other properties to feel part of a community yet very private. It is a short drive to Glastonbury. The woodburner was a real plus for us. Very comfortable with great facilities (including a utility room). We slept well. The owners could not have been more helpful, they were lovely. Excellent communication throughout. We appreciated the breakfast items provided- a lovely addition.
I had a wonderful stay at The Crown Hotel! The food was exceptional – the breakfasts were big and delicious, and the dinners had a unique Thai twist that was absolutely delightful. The staff were extremely courteous and attentive, always ready to assist. It was heartwarming to see many locals as regulars, especially how warmly the elderly were treated. The rooms were beautifully decorated with tasteful wallpaper, creating a very pleasant environment. Highly recommend for a genuine and comfortable experience!
Jen & Jamie have created a lovely friendly, well-appointed 'home from home' which will be my 1st choice the next time I'm in Glastonbury (rather than chain hotels). It's cosy, clean, with a lovely bathroom (bath and separate shower), comfortable and welcoming. The lovely welcoming note and extras in the fridge etc. were a very nice surprise & much appreciated. Meeting Jamie as I left was a nice end to the visit. Look forward to the next one :-)
What a wonderful stay! The B &B was immaculate, bright, and well appointed. Couldn’t ask for a better location or a nicer place to stay. Aymen and Pete are gracious, welcoming hosts who make you feel right at home. In addition to Aymen’s delicious breakfasts the breakfast room and gardens were lovely places to relax. Easy walking distance to the Tor, Chalice Well and Glastonbury Abbey. Highly recommended, didn’t want to leave.
Martin and Sarah have really thought of every tiny little detail to make your stay comfortable. It's like a home away from home, and I always look out for it when I'm booking for the Glastonbury area, although it's usually fully occupied, which isn't surprising. Well stocked kitchen with all utensils and a good selection of breakfast ingredients, they even give you mini toiletries like an upmarket hotel!
Loved the location - right in the historic centre of Glastonbury, walking distance from all the sights we wanted to see. Loved the atmosphere of the hotel as well - felt like we had stepped right into history. Our room was very quiet, spacious and comfortable. Dinner in the pub downstairs was delicious, as was breakfast the next morning. A fantastic experience!
If you're unsure about anything in Glastonbury, Jeremy and Claudie have a long list of hidden gems to keep you adventuring day after day. A very clean space, in an incredible location, with very supportive home keepers, I really enjoyed and loved my stay at Stargaia Retreat. And the views! Stunning.
jenni was incredible host. she was so kind and warm. I felt right at home. She gave me great suggestions for things to do in Glastonbury. She recommended me a wonderful massage therapist. My time at her home was so relaxing and peaceful. I couldn't more highly recommend. She is wonderful lady!
Great breakfast and very convenient location. Staff were kind and helpful. They stored luggage for us overnight so we could bring less during an overnight trip away from Glastonbury. We were in room 3, which was a big room overlooking Glastonbury Abbey and the Tor tower.
Super welcoming and friendly. The Overlook is very centrally located in Glastonbury, close to restaurants, the Tor and shops. Great recommendation for dinner nearby and really appreciated my host packing me a lunch for my early start and hike the next day!
lovely location with easy access to Glastonbury and local pub near by. hosts were very welcoming. the room was exceptional. beautifully decorated, fantastic shower and the breakfast choice was brilliant. really loved our stay
Great location & comfy place...excellent starting point to explore the city each day...nice cafes & places for eating near by...bus stop & glastonbury abbey & high street just around the corner...
Clean and comfortable, two bathrooms, beds very comfortable. Very central, only 2-3 minutes walk round the corner to the abbey and centre of Glastonbury, Dedicated parking place outside the mews.
Location was in centre of Glastonbury making it good to get around. Breakfast was good. Had an evening meal in the hotel which was also good. Very friendly hotel. Highly recommend.
Paula and her husband were wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond making my stay in Glastonbury fun and interesting. The breakfast is incredible as is the homemade jam.
This facility has a great location to Glastonbury center and reasonable walks to Chalice Well, Tor and Abbey. It was nice to return to such a comfortable room!
