The Royal Albion, hotel in Broadstairs

Looking out to sea over Broadstairs’ Viking Bay, the Royal Albion has a magnificent location, on the seafront, yet also close to the heart of the town.

It’s a great location and the family rooms have great bunk beds and large bathrooms so it feels quite spacious. The breakfast was amazing and you could also walk out onto the beach with the children straight after via the back doors

The Guest House Broadstairs, hotel in Broadstairs

The Guest House Broadstairs enjoys a location in Broadstairs, a 10-minute walk from Viking Bay Beach and 2.1 miles from Granville Theatre.

Close to town and the owners are very friendly. Our room okay and clean. Breakfast had a problem with electricity which couldn't be helped. However the breakfast was burnt and cold and bacon rock hard. The coffee was extremely weak and not very hot. I would have preferred a discount off and an option to get breakfast elsewhere. This was not offered. Just a lot of apologizing. I know this may come across a harsh review, but, when there's a problem look at other options for customers to choose in these circumstances.

Really pretty, lovely clean sandy beaches.

Really pretty, lovely clean sandy beaches. A small seaside town with only a small shopping area with small independent stores. Some nice restaurants. As with many seaside towns there are some closed down shops and more maintenance needed in places, a little jaded in parts. However the main town Beach, Viking Bay is one of the prettiest I’ve seen. Residents were friendly and it felt safe.

Do not visit in the winter or when it is raining. The menu is very limited at weekends and if there is a function at the time of visit, you can forget about any available facilities in the hotel. We booked tea for one evening and this was extremely disappointing for the amount of money charged.

good location near beach and over looking sea , although our room had no view. Lovely coastal walk , went in winter I guess- march , but still a lovely walk and we were lucky with the bright days .lunch was lovely as was breakfast. Staff very accommodating and attentive, nice bar area to chill in the evening. Room above woke us at 5am as floor boards very creaky but bed was comfortable

Been scores of times over my life - this was the first long weekend to see relatives who now live in Broadstairs - it's a beautiful English seaside town with tons of history and the best beaches, I think, in the south of England - wonderful for summer swimming (especially stone bay). has a great community feel, good restaurants and pubs and is wonderful for kids and oldies alike.

we had a stake evening meal meal that was expensive and was a small portion for the price the cooked for was OK but not what i was expecting from what is presumed to be a high class hotel that fell well short of expectations. i would NOT stay there again mainly because there is NO parking at the hotel and it made exploring the area not some to do as you would not know where you could park the car when returning.

My partner and I stayed at Botany Bay Hotel at the end of January and I can only have positive comments, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, the location is beautiful and the room was nicely decorated. We have been in Botany Bay Hotel for meals several time now and never let us down. Waking up in front of the sea was a great experience. I think botany bay hotel is the best hotel in the area.

The Yarrow Hotel is lovely, homely and comfortable, I totally relaxed there. Although it was only overnight we couldn't have been treated better by the friendly and very helpful staff. Food was lovely and Sam (chef) made sure that I was catered for as I'm gluten and wheat intolerant. The room we had was lovely and clean, comfortable and warm. A lovely overnight stay, will definitely go back for a longer stay next time.

Fantastic location a short walk to Broadstairs town centre, overlooking the sea. You can see and hear the waves crashing through an open window. Great cheap and cheerful spot for a stay in one of England's unsung coastal gems. Hugely friendly and helpful staff and quaint, comfortable surrounds. And easy off-street parking.

Really comfy, clean and quiet. Cosy and relaxing. Right near to the beach and coastal paths. Close to Botany Bay Hotel - which does a great breakfast/has a bar. Is an easy walk away from a supermarket and fish & chip shop. Angie (host) is really easy to communicate with. Well equipped kitchen. Great place to stay.

Fagin’s Den is a hidden gem in Broadstairs! The attention to detail the owners have put in to this cottage is second to none. In every room there is something to catch your eye. The Dickensian Themed costumes were brilliant and added lots of laughter to our stay. Simply cannot wait to return!!!
