We stayed here for 1 night whilst we hiked the west highland way. Room was clean and comfortable for the price. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Great place to stay after a day on the West Highland Way!
Everything was allright, nothing to complain and we had an extremely good experience at the bar (Ptarmigan pub, part of the hotel): the food was amazing and the staff in the pub super friendly!

B and B is located in a cute town (Drymen) with close proximity to Glengoyne Distillery and Loch Lomond. Right next to a great restaurant - the Clachan, an old establishment (licensed 1734) with nice food, ambience, and friendly staff. Also next to an excellent bakery. Decor was nice.
Featuring garden views, Knockinreoch in Drymen provides accommodations, a garden, and barbecue facilities. This apartment features free private parking and free Wifi.

Great location right outside of Drymen. Easy walking distance to town for meals and drinks. Great recommendations from Colin, who greeted us on arrival. His feline staff (Tilda) was a real charmer, as was the sheep who peacefully grazed outside our window one afternoon.

We liked that the property was close to town but felt like we were in the country. It is a farm. The farmhouse interior has been improved by the owners. We enjoyed being in the Heather room which had a wonderful view of the garden and the fields. The room was beautifully set up! From the balcony I could hear the birds and watch them come to the feeders. Jane, the owner, made us a delicious breakfast. We did not stay long enough to enjoy the common living room with beautiful views and puzzle table and fireplace and more!

Balfron is a small settlement set in a lovely landscape. Nearby there are further beautiful villages such as Killearn and Drymen and there is access to Glasgow, Loch Lomond, Mugdock Country Park and the Devil’s Pulpit at Finnich Glen. Also good access to the nearby Campsie and Fintry Hills and the City of Stirling.

We didn’t spend much time in Balfron, but the city is located close to many of the places we had planned to go to, such as Balloch, The Trossachs, the Devils Pulpit and if we had had mire time, we would have made a trip to Glasgow.
